Agroforestry Promotion
Block-level awareness programmes and sapling plantation promoting agroforestry under RKVY-Assam with the Assam Agroforestry Development Board.
Overview
In partnership with the Assam Agroforestry Development Board, SFARD runs block-level awareness programmes on agroforestry under the RKVY Agroforestry component. Farmers learn how tree-crop combinations add income, restore soil and build green belts, and receive saplings for plantation on their own land.
