Farmer Producer Organisations
SFARD works as a Cluster-Based Business Organisation nurturing 51 Farmer Producer Companies across the North East and Uttar Pradesh.
Drip Irrigation & Digital Farming
NABARD-supported vegetable cultivation using drip irrigation, plastic mulching, IoT soil testing and app-based advisories in Sonitpur, Assam.
Community Biogas Plants
Installation and operation of community-level cattle-dung biogas plants under GOBARDHAN and Swachh Bharat Mission (Grameen) across Assam.
Makhana Value Chain
Integrated makhana (fox nut), fish and water chestnut cultivation in Assam's wetlands under NABARD's Farm Sector Promotion Fund.
Agroforestry Promotion
Block-level awareness programmes and sapling plantation promoting agroforestry under RKVY-Assam with the Assam Agroforestry Development Board.
Jal Jeevan Mission
Implementing Support Agency for rural piped water supply in Assam, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh and Tripura.
Micro Enterprise Development
NABARD-supported MEDPs on water hyacinth craft, weaving and design, and organic farming with vermicompost in Darrang, Sonitpur and Bishwanath.
Avocado Orchard, Sikkim
Establishing avocado orchards in Sikkim with training on sustainable production and marketing, funded by NERCORMS and the North East Council.
Employment-linked Skill Development
Large-scale domain skilling with Bihar, Jharkhand, Manipur, Assam and Uttar Pradesh skill missions under PMKVY 4.0, SJKVY, DDU-GKY and PMAY-G.
Krishak Pathshala & Birsa Gram
Running farmer field schools and integrated village development under the Samekit Birsa Gram Vikas Yojana in Latehar and Ranchi, Jharkhand.
